Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching, and everyone is looking for a way to celebrate. If you still haven’t planned the perfect date, here are a few suggestions for you.
For those of you with a sweet tooth this idea is perfect. It requires a bit of shopping but that’s only the start. You and your significant other pick out your favorite desserts. Run to the store to grab the ingredients then together you spend the evening preparing them. You spend time together and get a belly full of treats as well. If you aren’t up for cooking, then a nice alternative for this activity is going to a restaurant but only ordering desserts for the meal.
If your loved one is a self-care fanatic, then this is the date for you. Using only supplies found in your kitchen, you and your partner spend the evening making DIY (do it yourself) face mask. If you’re not sure where to start than head over to www.self.com for some creative mask to try. If you find yourself searching for something to do while the mask dry then try letting your significant other paint your nails and post the outcome for your friends to see.
A game night is an easy date that both of you will enjoy. Find the nearest arcade and spend your day together popping coins into the many machines available. When the night is over, you can cash in your tickets for comical valentine’s day gifts for each other.
A Night In
If you would rather spend the night at home with your someone special than break out your favorite childhood board games. Spend the evening battling in epic games of checkers and monopoly. If you are up for some company then try inviting another couple over to team up against each other. The winner gets to pick the movie you can spend your time watching for the rest of the night!
If you’re a classic person and want to show off your romantic side, then this is the idea for you. There is nothing that screams romance more than spending a night under the stars. Of course, in the winter weather that might not be a perfect idea. So instead, if you have a sunroof take your car for a drive around town and enjoy the stars in the comfort of your heated vehicle.
If you are single on this Valentine’s day and are willing to try something new, allow your friends to set up a blind date. Just pick your most trusted friend and let them do all of the planning. This is a great idea because if things don’t work out then there shouldn’t be any hard feelings. Plus you get to say you didn’t stay in alone this year.
