Brad Paisley will be making an appearance at Baccalaureate to help graduates succeed

Baccalaureate will be held May 22 at 7:00pm in the Ripley High School auditorium. Every year there is a guest speaker. This year’s guest speaker will be Brad Paisley.

“Paisley contacted our office and told us that he would be willing to be our guest speaker, of course we were in,” said event organizer Sally Hanchan.

Brad Paisley will be coming to West Virginia to speak to only our high school because he knows a lot of people from West Virginia. His friends were talking about our high school while they were on tour and how we needed a guest speaker. So he decided to come and speak at the event for us for free.

Paisley will be talking about how he left West Virginia to pursue his career and how they should live a successful life and have a good career.

“I am very excited to come to Ripley High School to perform my message. This seems like an amazing school,” said Paisley.

If you notice in the quote above Paisley says he is excited to “perform” his message. He will be singing his message instead of just speaking it.

“I think Brad Paisley is an amazing choice because first of all its Brad Paisley and second he is from this state so he will have great things to say about it and give us some good information,” said junior Billy Cornwell.

  1. Anni Putur, Maddi Tassey, Cam Boyce, Gabby Trongone, and Camille Miller were relentless on defense keeping Nauset to one 2nd half goal. Kasey Molito had another brilliant game with 10 saves on 14 shots. Bonavita was absolutely brilliant on offense as she scored 5 goals and kept the ball away from Nauset for most of second half.
